October was Black History Month in the UK, and there were many wonderful events held to celebrate.
One of the highlights was the Black Welsh Music Awards, and I was truly honoured to be part of this year’s ceremony. I performed the welcome song at the opening event, helping to set the tone for a day dedicated to celebrating Black excellence, culture, and creativity across the UK.
It was incredibly inspiring to witness so many talented artists being recognised for their contributions to music and culture. Artists like @phynofino and many others were honoured for their remarkable work, and it was a privilege to be among such an extraordinary gathering of creativity, passion, and achievement. The day was a powerful reminder of the richness and impact of Black artistry in the UK.
